Krishna Sadan is a free old age home located in Hyderabad, India. We serve the needy elderly people through this noble cause. We provide nutritious food, simple accommodation and health services for our special and chosen elderly people. We do not collect any monthly fee from the residents. |

MissionKrishna Sadan is committed to providing institutional care for needful elders, counselling services for elders and caretakers, referral services and also take up advocacy, lobbying and research in the areas of ageing. Furthermore, to provide capacity building programs for various stakeholders and raise support to enable better living conditions of the elders globally.

IMPACT:
1. We helped elders and their families to cope up with adjustment difficulties and reunited them.
2. We provide transit and long stay home facilities for elders.
3. Organised several awareness programs to school and college students and several youth on importance of taking good care of elderly.
Facility
Krishna Sadan provides a simple and comfortable accommodation for the elders. It is our compassion to serve and also the kindness of many individual donors that is helping Krishna Sadan serve the elders. There are elders who come for Long Stay, where in they stay permanently and Transit / short stay where they stay for just few days to few weeks. We accept elders from any caste or religious background.
UPCOMING EVENTS / PROJECTS !

1. Goshala: We have 12 Gomatha with us at Krishna Sadan. Inspired by eminent social workers we set up this unit in Krishna Sadan premises. Baba Amte's Garden of Joy and Acharya Vinobha Bhave's Gosamrakshana have left an profound impression on us. We are thankful to one and all for being part of this successful initiative.
2. 80 G tax exemption: We are happy to share that Krishna Sadan has received 80G tax exemption!! Now donations made to Krishna Sadan for food expenses or buying cloths or even paying electricity or milk bills or other similar expenses incurred by Krishna Sadan, can be exempted under 80G.
3. Sri Krishna Temple and Meditation annex have been inaugurated on February 1, 2017 in the premises ! The temple would serve and contribute in promoting healthy ageing. for spirituality and ageing at the Krishna Sadan.

1. We are planning to construct a 50 bedded assisted living facility for elders. Through this initiative we want to serve elders with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinsons and other sick elders. Details shall be announced soon.
2.Regular Activities / Events are still organised at Krishna Sadan premises every month. However, considering Covid restrictions we confined these activities only to the residents. We too miss the elderly guests who otherwise participate in good numbers.
